Cameras
Fujifilm X-E4 (£1,599)
This camera has been my main street photography for the past 2 years and has served me very well. It's often sold out in the UK so it's a sought-after camera. It produces some very vibrant and colourful pictures, especially in the day but also takes some respectable pictures in the night too. It has all the features you need for photography as well as easy access to these features for quick adjustments on the fly.
35mm (£389)
This lens is the one I use the most as many of my shots are 35mm on my website and social media. I find between 35-28mm is a nice, sweet spot for most shots in street photography.
16mm (£329)
I use the 16mm when I am trying to capture scale, grand landscapes, big architectural buildings or horizontal photos.
50mm (£409)
I use this lens the least, but I am very grateful to have it available. It allows me to take crisp shots from afar without too being intrusive and capturing people in a more natural manner, rather than them being aware that a photo is being taken.
Bags/Travel
Bellroy Camera Bag (£165)
This bag is an awesome lightweight photography camera that I use every time I go for a shoot. It has a large compartment in the middle for your camera with two small ones either side for your lenses or other accessories. A large front facing zipper pocket for smaller kit such as SD cards, adaptors, mobile phone etc.
Microphones
Logitech Blue Sona (£299)
This microphone has served me very well for my educational podcast-like videos that have been used on my socials. It is an easy plug and play mic, without many adjustments. The quality of sound is very much up there with the top condenser microphones in the market.
Computers
MacBook Pro 14-inch (£2,199)
I am pretty much deep into the Apple ecosystem so it's only natural that I have a MacBook Pro for all my photography and videography edits. I have been using it now for well over 2 years and it has never crashed or has shown signs of slowing down, one of my best investments.
iPad Pro 10.5-inch (£899)
Initially this device was used for my other line of work (personal training) but recently it has become a very powerful tool for my photo editing. Mobile Lightroom (Adobe) is amazing for editing, especially when using the Apple Pencil.
Software
Adobe Premier Pro
Premier Pro is the beating heart to all my video editing and all the social media videography that you have seen so far. Colour corrections, sound balancing, and animations are all done on Premier Pro.
Adobe Lightroom
Lightroom is my main photograhy editor and the only one I have used so far. Personally, I think it's a very powerful tool to enhance your photos in the vision that you want. It has many amazing features for colour enhancement, saturation and contrast control, pre-sets and many more.
Adobe Photoshop
I use Photoshop to add layouts for my social media posts, create thumbnails and add graphics to my content.
Adobe After Effects
I use After Effects to produce some of my motion graphic animations used in my videos and some gifs. After Effects was not easy to learn but it is an amazing tool to add some character to your videos.
